How did you try to search them?  There are at least 3 different ways
to search through the docs:

   - press `s' and type a string: searches in the current manual

   - press `i' and type a string: searches through the index of the
     current manual

   - type `Alt-x index-apropos RET string RET': searches in all
     indices of all the manuals that are installed on your system

When you don't know in which manual to look, the last option is the
most powerful.
