The original programs are in djdev201.zip.

They are in different distributions.  The first ones are in djdev,
whereas the second ones are in Textutils.  They are different
programs.

Doesn't your unzip utility prompt you before overwriting existing
files?

DJGPP v2.02 will rename its versions into something like djsplit and
djmerge.
