I suspect you have given incorrect options to the compiler or linker. It
sounds like you invoked the linker directly, which should not be necessary
and can cause problems. You should use `gxx' to link, and not use `ld'
directly. If this doesn't help, please post a short source code which
reproduces it, and the EXACT command lines used to compile and link it.
