Is there a way to load 256 color bitmaps in hicolor without having to
convert them to 16bit color at loading time? For example, if I wanted to
create a HiColor mapeditor that uses 256 color tiles, how would I create,
save, and load the tilesets and maps without losing their 8bit palette?
