So it sometimes crashes with SIGSEGV and sometimes just hangs, right?

What happens if you run the same command from the DOS prompt in the
src directory?  If it also hangs, please add -Q to the gcc switches,
run this command again and tell me what is the last function name
printed when it hangs (or crashes).

What does go32-v2 print when invoked with no arguments?

How much free space do you have on the disk where DJGPP.ENV is kept?

*Bad* idea.  If you go to a drive other than f:, Info will stop
working.  Always use full path names, including the drive letter.

It is true that info/dir mentions *.inf files.  But did that make any
trouble to you?  Are you unable to read Info files whose names end
with .info?  If so, does renaming them to .inf solves the problem?

As far as I recall, Info should work regardless, but I might be
mistaken.
