Not having a *nix workstation is your choice... I suggest you install
Linux and use Ghostscript under X11R6.2  It is sweet to behold.  And you
can view all those .pdf files with Adobe Acrobat under X as well.  THose
aren't the only reasons to install Linux though.  :)
