What do you mean? If you want to use for own projects directory not in 
%DJDIR%/CONTRIB/SWORD you can do it as prefer. Simply add path to
SWORD headers to compiler include paths and path to library to linker's
path.
I think you can do this by editing DJGPP.ENV in such manner as with
another DJGPP's libraries or using makefiles or creating RHIDE project.
It works for me without any problems.
