I am releasing the source code for the CLIFF demo. The code can be
downloaded from the CLIFF homepage. The package contains the source
code for version 1.0 of the CLIFF engine as well as the source code
for the CONVQBSP program. This is the first official version of the
CLIFF engine.

CLIFF is a real time 3D-engine that i developed in my free time.
It can also be used as a Quake Viewer. For more info check the

The main reason for releasing the code is to help people learn from it.
I do not claim the code is perfect. Actually, if i rewrote the code now,
I would have implemented many things in a completely different and far
more efficient way. This means that a large part of the version 1.0 code
can afford a lot of improvement. However, do not forget that CLIFF is
just a spare-time project and that my main motivation for creating CLIFF
was simply the fact that i love 3D programming and wanted to learn more
about this wonderful subject.

   CLIFF is copyright by Nick Komodakis.

   You are free to use any part of the CLIFF source code as long as
   you do not make a profit out of it. This means that you can enjoy
   the package freely , pass it onto you friends (you are encouraged
   to do that) and learn from it. However, the CLIFF project has been
   developed in my spare time so it's only fair for me to ask that all
   programs that use any part of the CLIFF source code must include
   full credit for its use together with information on how to get the
   CLIFF package.  Also,  i would enjoy receiving any program that was
   created using the CLIFF package.

   The CLIFF source code can not be used for any commercial purposes
   without authorization from the author. If you wish to use the CLIFF
   package for commercial software then please contact me so that we
   can work out an aggreement.
