I successfully use an S3 (Trio64V+ aka 865) in conjunction with an old
hercules card with m.m. for debugging in RHIDE (among others).
AFAIK any VGA compatible card can be used together with a MDA compatible
cards.
Installation is simple: Switch the computer off. Plug the h. card in and
connect everything properly. And switch on your computer. RHIDE should
autodetect its presence.
