Please read the files which come with RHIDE. RHIDE in general is
copyleft by the GPL and the terms of it are in the file COPYING.
Additional "restrictions" are in the file COPYING.RH.

Please read at least those two files (it is hard for me to reproduce
this here on the fly).

But also here some general notes from. Nothing and nobody can prevent
you to modifiy RHIDE and/or port it to an other OS. But only
if you want to distribute this to others you should look in the
file COPYING.RH about the conditions or an other (in my opinion
betther) think would be, that make all the needed changes, send
them to me and I will include them in the RHIDE distrib.

But please remember some things when sending me changes.

- I will accpt only diffs (except for new files) against one
  of the distributed RHIDE versions.

- Make you changes clean and compatible with the current
behavior. This means if you add or modify code, this should
compile on all currently supported OS's (DJGPP, Linux).

And a very last note. I wish you all the best with it, because this
will not an easy task, and I know what I'm speaking about :-)
