As Allegro works without needing C++ and to save newbies some potential
trouble when making allegro (at least until v3.0 comes in which I assume
the new setup is in C) I've modified the code so it runs without needing
the C++ library's or compiler.

It's not pretty, but it does compile without warnings and work. Does
anyone think it should be put on the archives as a stop gap measure, or
are we all using C++ now?

        Tom.

Ps. It's not very happy under win95, but neither are all the demos on
this machine.
