www.goof.com was down for a while, server ran out of disk space.   It is
still the
"real" homepage for it.  There are mirrors at www.gcc.ml.org, and at
www.nightflight.com
and others I think.

up soon.

Nope.  Its just been a struggle getting egcs to build properly.  I had a
system for the old gcc based snapshots where I could get a new snapshot
built in an hour, and tested in a day.  Now it takes
several days just to build.
