Thanks, this worked very well. I'd like to know the difference between
your method and Firewind's, do they do the same thing the same way? Is
the keyboard controller set to listen to a memory address, or does the
write cause an interrupt, or what?

BTW it's only a 1,000 line program (that probably only needs 500!),
and it doesn't use any Allegro-type features, so I think it would have
been over the top. And I'm still learning so I want to do things for
myself.
