RHIDE searches (BY DEFAULT) only the list of of nodes for keywords.
But as this was also a problem for me when using RHIDE on linux,
where the GNU libc documentation has also not for any function
a separate node I added in the 'Help/Syntax help/Files to search'
the feature to type there a complete Node, where to search for
the topics. As an example for Linux I have there already as default
"(libc)Function Index"

(note here the quotas, since the space is part of the node name).

In your case (for libiostream) you have to add something like

(iostream)Index

If my above description do what you want, then it is there.
