Maybe that is true if you show them two different colors in different
places, and ask which is lighter. But if you draw a gradient from one
side of the screen to the other, I think you will find the banding is
_very_ obvious with only 20 shades!

rec.games.programmer, nobody seems able to agree on the truth. Please
