Hello.

I am currently writing a graphics library for DOS with another person. I use DJGPP, he
uses Watcom and we want to make it as compatible as possible accross the two compilers.
This means using near pointers in DJGPP. I know that this can be _bad_, so I was
wondering what the safest way to go about this is and what things that I should be aware
of.

Any help would be greatly apriciated.

of the info system.

Alternatively, if you don't want to fiddle with this, you can use the fact
that Allegro's help system is in `allegro.inf' in the info directory.
Simple start RHIDE's help system, type Ctrl-G, and type `allegro'. You
should end up at the index to Allegro's help system.

Of course, you could also just open the file `allegro.txt' (in the Allegro
docs directory), which is the same thing in pure ASCII text format.
