Yes, you did say that, in your other message which says this:

Please note that net propagation delays can prevent your follow-ups
from showing on Robert's server. I have seen messages delayed by as
much as 5 days.

Now, *that* is not nice at all! You got RHIDE for free, including the
free support from its author (who replied to you in person). I fail
to understand why do you find it acceptable to flame people who want
to help you without asking anything in return.

You might like or dislike what Robert has to tell you, but as long as
he tells it in a way that doesn't insult you, I don't think you should
insult him in return. If you dislike his attempts to help you this
much, just ignore them.

It might be that you are over-reacting to something that is caused by
misunderstanding. Please note that Robert's address is in Germany,
and therefore English is not his native language. A little tolerance
to what might be a simple difficulty to express technical issues in
foreign language is due here, as in any other international forum.
You might also appreciate the effort that Robert and others who
replied to you are willing to invest, even when that requires them to
use a foreign language.

Moreover, it is possible that some of the fault for the
misunderstanding is your responsibility. You didn't read the FAQ (or
did you?); you didn't supply your environment listing (in the original
message); you quoted the memory report inaccurately, which led Robert
to believe that you have ridiculously low amount of free memory. And
your message doesn't explain enough about the difference between the
two ways of invoking RHIDE. (What's the difference between ``running
RHIDE in a DOS box'' and ``via the MS-DOS Prompt icon''?) Sure,
anybody can make mistakes, but why are you so tolerant to yours and so
INtolerant to mistakes and misunderstandings by others?

That is your priviledge. But it is quite possible that you will find,
like many people on this forum, that the ``proper support'' you get
with commercial products is far inferior to what you get here for
free. I doubt that with any commercial product you would be able to
bug the people who actually wrote it, without paying anything. I
doubt that you will ever get such quick bug-fixes, sometimes a few
days from reporting the bugs, as people here are used to with DJGPP.
I doubt that you will ever find a forum devoted to commercial
software where internals and secrets of the software are discussed
with such freedom as they are here.
