As already said in the past: I do not want to develop
a second emacs!! If you really like features, why not
using sed and awk? Try to understand from the RHIDE
sources how the grep command in RHIDE works and you
will see, that is possible for you to overwrite this
with anything you want, including calling any other
external program.
