Probably some dumb thing I overlooked... or maybe not :)

I'm learning C++ (finally) and went into RHIDE by typing:

>rhide concom.cpp

concom.cpp is a simple cpp file that doesn't even use classes. Anyway,
I go to run like always to make and run the program.  The program
just hangs at the "execuing..." screen with the status window saying
"Compiling..".  It's supposed to be running "gxx -g -c concom.cpp"
but it doesn't... PLEASE help!
