EMM386 and QEMM usually have nothing to do with the DPMI server.  You
can load any of these and still have CWSDPMI as your DPMI host.  Only
known exceptions are: Caldera's OpenDOS, where there's a DPMI built
into EMM386 (but if you use OpenDOS you have probably switched its
DPMI off, since it's buggy); and QDPMI add-on to QEMM (which can be
turned off after the boot by typing QDPMI OFF from the DOS prompt).
