Hi,

I installed emacs 19.34 under my djgpp 2.0 environment. It works fine when
launched from windows 95 or a Dos 7 box, but does not work from MSDOS 6.22.

From DOS, it just displays the load messages separated by <CM>, and tells
me that it cannot load the 'case-table' file (Of course, I run it under
MSDOS with the -nw option).

I fear this is a path problem, related to the 8.3 DOS filenames. I found
nothing about this in the emacs FAQ, and neither in the djgpp FAQ.

Is it possible configure emacs to work well from dos and Win 95? And is
there anywhere just another FAQ that explains how to configure djgpp/emacs
for DOS?

Xavier
