You didn't post the exact text of the error message, which makes it
hard to provide you with an accurate solution.

If the message says "PROG: Not COFF" (where PROG is the name of your
program), then it is probably because your system is infected with a
virus.  Further details, as well as other possible causes of this, are
available in section 6.5 of the DJGPP FAQ list (if you don't have it,
get v2/faq210b.zip from the same place you download DJGPP).
