LS,
The intention is to create an clock-interrupt driven real-time program
(1KHz updates). I would like this program to communicate with the
outside world via TCP in the background-loop in order to monitor the
proces and download new setpoints. My fear is that the required
packetdriver/networkcard allso generate interrupts and probably (worse)
even masks the clock-interrupt. Is this reality????

Are there any packetdrivers which operate without interrupts?
Is it possible to switch a packet driver on and off?
Rob
