Subject: 32bit DOS.
Mime-Version: 1.0

I have dreamed with it! No protected-real mode switching! More memory and
easy to manage. But I think that the strong part of DOS is simplicity,
otherwise is better to use Linux, Windows 95, etc. It must let the
programer a good control of the machine. Also, what it would do when an old
16 bit api or for example an old DJGPP api is executed? Switch to real mode
and switch to protected mode when an irq is issued? It would have to
emulate conventional memory, xms, and ems. I think also that compatibility
with windows 95 must be necessary (run in the same hard disk). What about
drivespace? I use it. I think this is very hot, very difficult to do. But
it is possible?

Also, what are this POSIX functions?

What can be done with EMACS? I know that it haves an IDE. But I heard that
it has many other thinks. What thinks?

Greetings.

P.s.: Sorry for my very bad English!
