You are so right...

because this is also wrong (At least I think so...)

The problem of the original poster is very probably
an incorrect DJGPP installation (The error occours
when compiling and NOT when linking!!).

And to Faust:

Have you really read the README.1ST and did you all
the instructions mentioned there (setting environment
variables, where and how to unzip, ...)?
