If you really didn't have a DPMI server, you should get the error message "no DPMI - Get csdpmi*b.zip" from both gcc and Rhide. Are you absolutely sure that you didn't have _any_ DPMI server before? What DOS version do you have? IBM-DOS, OpenDOS or just plain MS-DOS without any QEMM, 386/Max or something? Regards... Michael
