Subject:	Suggestion: emacs handling gzipped info files

Since `info' has been made able to read gzipped info files, I think this
should be done for Emacs's info reader as well. It would be really
convenient for those of us who use Emacs a lot (those info files are big).
The Unix version does this, perhaps inspiration could be drawn from it. I'd
volunteer, but I know nothing about Emacs Lisp.
