Possible causes of this problem:
- Your linker is using a different object file format than your libgcc
library is. This means you have replaced one or the other, possibly with the
RSXNT/DJ one.
- If you are using the stock binutils and libgcc, it's possible your
libgcc.a has been corrupted. You can get the original from the gcc2721b.zip
file.

P.S. If possible, could you disable the option on your mailer/newsreader
that includes an HTML copy of your posting? It's rather annoying, and wastes
bandwidth. Thanks.
