[I'm posting this to the newsgroup instead of emailing Shawn directly
because I thought this question might be of general interest. If it's
already covered somewhere, I apologize - I didn't see any information
about it in the Allegro docs, however.]

I'm planning on writing a simple flowcharting (ick!) program using
Allegro's drawing routines and GUI, and I'd like to GPL the result. I
have no trouble distributing only /my/ source code and letting the
user download the Allegro library seperately if she wants to
recompile, but I'd like to distribute the binary under the GNU Public
License. I wonder whether your (Shawn's) Allegro copyright policy
permits this? I /do/ plan to send you something as per your copyright
restrictions (probably a copy of the program, since I have no money to
speak of).

(By the way, anybody know of a standard way to print simple (ie.,
flowchartish) graphics? A public domain/GPLed library, perhaps?)

TIA.

Nathan Thompson
