Yep.  Didn't know there was another way of doing it.

I couldn't find anything in the Problems file with my distribution (I checked
again after the I got your email).  I did find from the NT Emacs Homepage
a blurb about emacs supporting only 1 dos subprocess at a time, but not
much detail.

Latest release is 19.34.4 (August 6, 1997)

Supposedly 19.35 will have better subprocess support though.  Maybe
I'll wait for that before bothering the maintainers.
