Are you sure that you got the 'subject error' and
not something like ".. line number overflow ..."?

But if you really got the "Memory exhausted" message,
the you post more detailed information or read the
last note in this post first!!

(add the -v switch when linking and post the output
here)

As far as I know, gcc 2.7.0 was part of DJGPP 2.0 and not
of DJGPP 2.01 which comes with gcc 2.7.1.

What a small footnote which might be important. As you
run under Windows 95 have you checked your memory settings
of the DOS box??? (look in the FAQ for details)
