I explained the reasons in another message; the port was NOT done to
prove that I can.  emTeX doesn't release at least some of its sources,
so you can't freely debug it when you have a problem.  Installing
another DOS extender is also a pain and has its share of compatibility
problems when you run it from DJGPP programs.

I've generated hundreds of printed pages with the ported TeX during
testing.  It is your call, but I suggest you try the DJGPP port to see
whether it is reliable enough and judge it then.

P.S.  I wrote my comment because your original message seemed to
indicate that you must boot into Linux to have TeX; you didn't mention
emTeX as your other option.
