Someone advised to me that scsh/scheme48 had been
ported to djgpp.  I looked in the mail archives, but
couldn't find a reference to it.

I downloaded the source (since I was browsing
for it), but probably won't have a chance to try compiling it
for a few days.  Has anyone done this?  If so, any advice - or is
there an executable somewhere?

I've avoided lisp all these years, but I have a possible use
for it (scheme dialect in particular). 

If I can get a version of scheme that (a) isn't too big, and (b)
will work on both dos and linux, I'll probably give it a try.
