DJGPP can also use as much memory as you have, and swap to disk (virtual
memory). What exactly do you mean by "memory trouble"? are you running
under Windows 95? if so, you have to change the DPMI memory properties
(Properties in your DOS box) to 65536KB (64MB) because Windows will not
give DOS programs more memory.

If you are running under plain DOS, you have to make sure that CWSDPMI.EXE
is in your current directory or path, or you have another DPMI provider
like QDPMI or 386MAX running. DJGPP needs a DPMI provider in order to do
its memory handling. 

It would be helpful if you posted to the list exactly what sort of error
message you get when you said "memory trouble."
