There is a Solitaire game for X11 (I used to run Windoze Solitaire under
Wabi just to play it under Unix, would you believe). Anyway, this game is
available with source, it comes with a general purpose cards library for..
guess what, displaying cards.

The cards are nicely done. They are in X Pixmap (XPM) format. I don't
really use Windoze all that much, but any decent image converter should be
able to handle that.. BTW, XPM files are just C source code, so you can
just #include them in your source code if you can figure out how to
display them properly.
