Hi,

I know it's probably a stupid and easy question but I'm not sure what
the correct answer is.

Here it goes:

I compiled a program (ttct) with djgpp successfully under DOS and tested it
there, no problems. I gave the executable ttct.exe then to somebody
else to run it under Win95 in a DOS box and got the following answer.

>In trying to run ttct.exe, I get the error message, "Program too big to
>fit in memory." But "mem" reports "largest executable program size" = 612
>Kb, while ttct is only 349 Kb. The same thing happens even if the
>computer is "restarted in DOS mode."

I studied the FAQ and found the answer about setting the DPMI size to
65535 but I'm not sure if this solution applies to this problem
either.

Anybody can enlighten me (I'm not familiar with Win95) ?

BTW.: I'm a purely Linux user and had to port an application for a
project back to DOS. Because of DJGPP, the emacs, bash, etc. port I
felt REALLY comfortable while porting. Thank you to everybody who made
DJGPP possible ;-)

Greetings,

				Christian

What's the railroad to me ?
I never go to see
Where it ends.
It fills a few hollows,
And makes banks for the swallows,
It sets the sand a-blowing,
And the blackberries a-growing.
