what you want to do is called porting, and you should first ask if
anyone has already ported the library.  next you should look at the
source for some library for djgpp and see what might be similar.  i am
assuming you have the source for your borland lib.  if you DON'T have
the source, then you MIGHT get lucky with a disassembly, but this is
highly unlikely!
