In article <33ACDB53 DOT 30B0 AT xs4all DOT nl> you wrote:
: I try'd to compile anything but when I start GCC it gives me an error
: message exacly like this:

: gcc.exe: installation problem, cannot exec `as': No such file or
: directory (ENOENT)

If you don't already have it, get the fet the file v2/readme.1st and read
it first. Then do the following:

1) Make sure you downloaded and unzipeed the following:

djdev201.zip gcc2721b.zip bnu27b.zip

When unzipping you must preserve the directory structure. See readme.1st
for full details.

2) Make sure your PATH and DJGPP variables are set correctly. See
readme.1st for full details.

3) Make sure the DJGPP variable is set with the full path and filename of
the file DJGPP.ENV. See readme.1st for full details.

4) Read readme.1st again to check you didn't miss anything

I hope this helps.
