Given MS's hostility towards DOS, almost certainly not.  We can't even get
them to fix the bugs in DPMI 0.9 in their products.  When asked about getting
bug fixes - they said port to Win 32.  If anything, I would not be surprised
to see DPMI more broken in the next release just to encourage migration.
That's what's been happening in NT.
