Heh, been programming in asm quite a lot, but now that windows is :shudder:
becoming a bit of a standard (win95), I might as well see how C werks.
Preferably C, I tend to get quite annoyed when I have to second-guess my
compiler (which get's more frequent as your language increases in
complexity.) Since I'm not quite prepared to shell out a load of cash when
I'm not even sure I'm going to use the language, I looked around for
something midly professional, and after a bit I ran over GNU C (DJGPP for
me, since I use dos, mostly.) I understand DJGPP won't be a great star at
win code, but I might as well learn C first. I wrote some really, really
simple C programs (kinda like hello world, really.). I wanted to compile
it, but I can't find the compiler. Heh, really lost I suppose. (It's
v2.10). I did find the assembler (DJASM), but, well, didnt find the C
compiler. any help?
