Hi all,

Using my favorite DOS-editor to edit Win95 files with long filenames is
starting to drive me nuts. And then I see all those DJGPP proglets
supporting LFN's and I wonder - could I use DJGPP to write a wrapper
around my DOS editor that supports LFN's? All it has to do is accept a
long filename as argument, translate it in the 8.3 format and exec my
editor.

Has anyone done this before, or knows how to do this?
Could you please cc your reply to me in person?

Thanks!
