I have been working on sound editor/mixing software for dos (win95
aware) and have been getting VERY strange results when allocating
A - Large blocks of memory (4 to 5M)
B - Many semi-large chunks (1 - 2M)
C - Certain sizes of small blocks (20 - 30K produces an error)

Any ideas?  I've been trying very hard (for about 3 months now) to
figure out if it was just my bad code and I think I've checked just
about all I can...
