That is correct.  You need to set LFN=y to get the support, I forgot
about that.

I'm not aware of any such problems.  DJGPP v2.0 had problems with Info
on LFN platforms, but these problems has been solved in v2.01.  No
DJGPP distribution that I've seen includes .info-NN files, they all
use either .iNN or don't use extensions at all (like in emacs-1,
emacs-2 etc.).
