I run the tests you ask me for:

Trident
TVGA GUI9440
640x480(1024 x 1024),1024 K ram,64 k bank,64k granularity

Your are right with scroll, it seems to scroll by 4 pixels to left and 
right.

When I tried to scroll up and down, it does scroll at 1 pixel but it also 
change horizontal position:

you start the scrolling test

you press down key

it scrolls 1 pixel down but the grid is shifted in a manner that the first 
gridline number that appears on top left of the screen is an 8 (truncated)

you press down key again

it scrolls 1 pixel down but the grid is shifted in a manner that correct 
the first shift

get it?

BTW, The  screen doesn't scrolls right and left for every keypress, It loks 
like I must insist(3-6 keystrokes) for the screen to scroll
