Because the GNU package is called `cperf-2.1a.tar.gz', not `gperf'.

Asking won't help.  Somebody should port the newer version and submit
the source patches to DJ Delorie.  I did the port of Cperf 2.1a, but I
don't have time to port the new version right now.  (And I'm not sure
we should port versions that weren't officially released by GNU,
anyway.)
