I, however, must disagree as usual :)

I find MIDAS to be slow, dumb, and buggy.  Out of the many demos that have
used it that I know of, most of them don't work..  I personally feel that
you'd have better luck if you used SEAL (SythEtic Audio Library) by Carlos
Hasan (Pelusa) of Egerter Software, the same guys who bring us WGT and
Power Render :)  http://www.egerter.com/seal I believe...

Don't get me wrong, though, MIDAS has a lot of great features to it and
it's great to use too, just not quite as nice in my experience.
