Since you're paraphrasing the linker error, this isn't of much help.
Exactly what command line are you compiling and linking it with, and
exactly what is the error?

I tried compiling and linking your test file and, other than warnings
about unused variables and main's returned type (should be int, not void),
it compiled and linked fine.
