Exactly what code is this?  I would like to see it.  Sure all the code
appears to
be straightforward, but when you combine thousands of lines of simple
code,
they can form something way more complicated than you can imagine. 
Anyway,
I guess you shouldn't be bringing Carmack's work down unless you can do
something
better.
