I'm totally interested in this, I myself was hoping to create some kind of 
scaled-down version of OpenGL for cross-platform (Linux/DOS/DirectX) games 
development, i.e., a GNU-c compilable (mostly inline so no real overhead) 
template library which would allow 3D programs (games) to be published for 
these 3 platforms. Anyways, he mentioned a web page; will you post (or he) 
when anything new comes up on this?
