C'mon! Why in the world would Carmack use allegro?! Carmack wrote all of his
own functions from scratch!!  even the ones like "strcpy" and "printf"!!
Well, I think if Carmack can do it better, then let him do what he wants!
 Abrash is a very dominant programmer who DOES NOT WORK FOR ID ANYMORE! He
works for Microsoft now.
